JIHLAVA – The Developer Division of the PSJ, a.s. company is close to accomplishing all the actions required for the implementation of the Iglavia Park administrative project in Jihlava. After all the necessary survey work was carried out on the site and the urbanistic & architectonic concept of the construction was drawn up, the project notification was submitted in accordance with the Act on Environmental Impact Assessment. Unless any obstacles occur, nothing should prevent the first phase of the project construction from being launched in May 2009.

“The regional city has recorded a significant construction development in the area of industrial and warehouse properties as well as in the retail premises market and the residential market; however, the situation in the modern office premises market is unsatisfactory. If we wish to attract companies to Jihlava that would offer jobs to qualified workers, we have to create the proper facilities for them. Such a quality of working environment then brings about higher labour productivity – while the current project design generates lower operational costs. Jihlava lacks a modern administrative building with large-area premises enabling flexible arrangements, with quality technical equipment, including an air-conditioning system and sufficient parking spaces; therefore we believe that the Iglavia Park will be a success. This has been proven both by the market research that we have carried out, and the fact that we have already registered in our records the first parties interested in leasing the modern offices,” said Jiří Mutl, on behalf of the PSJ´s Developer Division.
According to the project the construction is to be implemented in phases, from the west to the east, in compliance with its investor’s financial potentials and the situation in the property market. Thus, the related transport connections will be gradually constructed and park greenery areas landscaped.
The final project design has been produced by Pelčák, a partner studio, which reworked the original project draft from November 2007 and which is the author, among others, of the already completed Spielberk Office Centre in Brno.
The IGLAVIA PARK name is derived from the original Latin name of Jihlava and it is related to the overall project layout as an open administrative set comprising of several buildings with a unified interior layout.
