The construction of the new shopping and office center was launched in Sochi’s district Adler in March this year. The construction site is located 40 kilometers southeast of the future venue of the Olympic Winter Games 2014, in the Black Sea resort Adler, near the Adler-Sochi international airport. In terms of financial volume it is € 51.96 million. Its completion is expected by the end of 2012.
The PPF Banka is involved in the export financing of the project and to a lesser extent also the first Czech – Russian Bank, all in cooperation with the Export Guaratee and Insurance Corporation (EGAP). The investor is the company R Seven Group.
The future “landmark” of Adler will consist of four parts. The three-storey department store including a technical floor shall be the largest object of the complex covering an area of 10,360 square meters. Its commercial area will be 30,000 m2. “Construction of the store operates at full capacity. We work in cooperation with subcontracting company OOO Ratko Mitrović – Serbia. Till now we performed all earthworks and foundation works. The concrete work on the technical floor to the level of +-0 is just finishing. At the same time we prepare the formwork and we reinforce the first floor, which is 5.3 meters high” said Mr Jaroslav Ricanek, the project manager of PSJ, who is seconded by Mr Jaromir Adamek, PSJ’s on-site construction manager.


Another important part of the complex will form a nine-storey office tower, which will be built on 1.080 m2 area. Its final version is currently designing and construction is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of this year.
The third part of the complex will be a separate three-storey car park for 300 cars.
And finally, there will be the fourth object, which will be the energy blocks. The supplier of the technology shall be the company ENKOM. Construction of the energy blocks will be held in two stages. The first stage will satisfy the energy needs of already existing shopping center; this stage shall be completed by the end of this year. The second stage of the construction of energy blocks, serving the new shopping and office center, will be finished next year.
