Reconstruction of Herálec Chateau near Havlíčkův Brod

A fantastic transformation has been undergone by the chateau at Herálec near Havlíčkův Brod. The hands of the PSJ staff have changed the long dilapidated building, last housing a boarding school for pupils with special needs, into Chateau Herálec – the first five-star hotel complex in the Vysočina Region.

The protected historic monument has gained a new face and function after the reconstruction. The five-star Chateau Herálec Boutique Hotel & Club Resort combines history and a modern interior. Hotel guests will appreciate the calm environment for rest and recreation, a stylish place for working and social meetings. The chateau invites guests into its ten luxury double rooms and nine suites. All rooms have their own individual stories. The royal and presidential suites further offer unrivalled space and the old time gentility of conserved frescoes, stucco decorations or original wooden cladding with rich engravings.

The complex also includes a chateau restaurant called Honoria, a night bar, a centre for sport and relaxation with an indoor pool, a fitness centre with saunas and a golf simulator. There are also fully equipped congress and lecture rooms. The elegantly arched rooms of the chateau also house a wellness centre, and an archive wine cellar in the underground spaces under the original barrel vault. The chateau yard has been successfully adapted together with the walking path in the chateau park. In addition to the PSJ supply, the large English park has also been revitalised.
